Marco Ferrari, half of the Ferrari Franchi Design studio, has revealed the F65, a superyacht concept.
The new F65 is 65.5m/215ft steel displacement yacht with an aluminium superstructure that has a modern design with and extensive outside areas for an incredible entertainment. This yacht which can accommodate up to 12 guests over 6 cabins including a VIP suite, guest cabin and twin cabin on the main deck, with additional VIP suite on the upper deck, and optional guest cabin on the lower deck that doubles as a guest cinema at the owner’s requirement.
The main salon is divided in a great lounge area with folding balconies to create a direct view of the sea and a dining area. Looking aft on the wide cockpit 3,5 x 3,3 metre infinity pool surrounded by sofas creates the perfect space for entertainment and lounging.
The beach club including a lounge area with a bar is located in the aft part of the lower deck, connected to the wide stern platform, this is a comfortable space for the guests with easy access to the water, while forward is connected to the tender garage, which hosts a 9 m guest tender and a 7 m rescue tender, plus four jet skis and diving equipment.
The lower deck hosts the crew area forward with galley, crew mess, crew lounge, crew gym, two single cabins, six double cabins, and a hospital cabin, this area is connected directly with the engine room. The under lower deck hosts additional areas for the crew. The captain cabin is located on the upper deck. The total crew compliment is a Captain and 18 crew.
The F65 will be capable of a cruising speed of 15 knots using twin CAT 3512C engines.
