Initially, it should be recalled that in January this year, Rolls-Royce produced the latest copy of the current, seventh generation Phantom. Former Phantom VII has been in production since 2003, in Goodwood factory in the United Kingdom, and among other things, it attracted attention with the 6.75 liter V12 engine.

Here is a successor – this is Phantom VIII, with the full aluminum structure that Rolls-Royce calls “Architecture of Luxury”.
As expected, there is no big change in design compared to the old model, but this Phantom is still elegant and dominant.
In other words, Rolls-Royce has chose to evolve into design, which will allow it to remain easily recognizable as the top model of this brand and “the most luxurious vehicle in the world”.

The car is powered by the 6.75 liter biturbo V12 engine with 563 hp and 900 Nm of torque, sufficient to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h for 5.3 seconds (or 5.4 seconds with the extended LWB version).
It is worth mentioning the 8-speed ZF gearbox, adjustable air suspension, 21 and 22-inch wheels, all-wheel-drive system, laser headlights (“the most advanced in the world”) up to 600 meters, Night Vision and Vision Assist, An active cruise control, a pedestrian detection system, and a 12.3-inch infotainemt screen, the finest leather, wood and even silk for the interior.

The British also state that the new Phantom at a speed of 100 km/h is 10 percent quieter than its predecessor.
As far as dimension is concerned, the Phantom VIII is 5762 mm long, 2018 mm wide, 1646 mm high, 3552 mm in diameter (the LWB version is longer for another 200 mm), while the weight of the vehicle is 2625 kg.
Sales start next year, at an expected price of about £400,000 ($523,500).
