San Francisco is the new home of the world’s most expensive dress worn by Marilyn Monroe. Iconic sequined covered dress was purchased for over $5 million in November of 2016, setting a Guinness World Record for the most expensive dress sold at auction. Now, the sparkly gown which was famously worn by Marilyn Monroe when she sang “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” to John F. Kennedy in 1962, will be on display at San Francisco’s Ripley’s Believe It or Not!
The “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” dress will be on display until September 5th along with other items from President John F. Kennedy’s 45th birthday gala, including an original program of the event, ticket stub, gala poster and autographed tiles with Monroe’s signature.
