Italian builder CRN has started construction on the new 164-foot superyacht – Superconero, which is expected to debut in early 2018. Superconero takes some design cues from the yard’s ’60s classic yacht of the same name, but it is a thoroughly modern superyacht. The vessel is a steel and aluminum displacement yacht that measures 164 feet overall with a beam of 28.2 feet.
The design is by Zuccon International Project and includes spacious indoor and outdoor areas.
The balcony can be used while the boat is underway and, when at rest, the opening sea terrace and aft beach club let passengers enjoy the great outdoors. When opened, the tender garage links with the beach club to create a large water-level area. In the interior, full-height windows provide panoramic views.
Superconero’s social opportunities are impressive. The sky deck includes a Jacuzzi, wet bar, and lounges under a hardtop, and sunbeds aft. On the deck below, owners and guests can enjoy alfresco dining, while the main-deck cockpit includes a swimming pool and generous social area.
This announcement comes just a few months after the delivery of the CRN’s 243-footer Cloud 9.
