A limited edition of Ford’s GT model was inspired by the racing model GT40 Mk.IV with which A. J. Foyt and Dan Gurney won the Le Mans in 1967. In addition to the fact that the current ultrasport Ford GT is one of the most exclusive cars, as the US company will make a total of 1,000 copies for four years, its exclusivity further enhances the special limited edition that Ford Performance prepares for each of the four planned years. Behind the name GT ’67 Heritage Edition hides Ford’s reminder of the second (of the four) Le Mans victories from 1967, and an adequately painted car will be offered in a small number of specimens among the planned 250 copies to be produced and shipped next year.
In addition to the characteristic red color and white applications on the body, the exterior of the special edition features unpainted carbon elements and special 20-inch, single-piece alloy wheels, and the red color found its place in the interior, dominated by leather and carbon. Happy customers will also like an adequate tile with an inscription of the edition whose quantity is not yet known.
