Aston Martin has expanded the exclusive Vanquish Zagato edition with two more body shapes, and the total output of all four models is 325 units. Aston Martin’s collaboration with the famous Italian Zagato company has resulted in the exclusive edition of the Vanquish Coupe and Cabrio model which will be offered in 99 models in both body shapes.
The expansion of the collaboration resulted in two new body shapes (Speedster and Shooting Brake), and to the customers will be offered 99 copies of the “hunting” version of Shooting Brake and only 28 Speedsters which are described in the British automobile company as the “hardcore” version of the Cabriolet model Vanquish Volante.
With characteristic bodywork details that have been the trademark of Zagata for years, Speedster will reach its first customers at the beginning of next year, and in Aston Martin say that the names of all future owners are already known, as the planned production is largely sold out. The question remains: Why only 28 copies?
All details of the fourth bodywork version of the Shooting Brake have not yet been revealed, but it is known that the extended deck roof will be made of glass, and the third door will be powered by electric motors.
The entire Zagato series is based on the Vanquish S model, which means that under the front cover is the 6.0 liter V12 engine with a 580 hp and 630 Nm of the highest torque, distributed through 8-speed automatic transmission Touchtronic III.
