Here’s the first remark that last year at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance event in California Mercedes promoted a new studio under their sub-brand Maybach, an ultra-luxury 2+2 coupe called Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6. Now, exactly a year later, in the same place, the Cabrio Edition comes. So, we have the Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet concept that immediately attracts the attention of the long hood, the elongated rear end, striking grille and large wheels of up to 24 inches.
Mercedes pointed out earlier that this is not just a retro design but a reinterpretation of classic aesthetic principles.
Also, the front windshield serves as a transparent display, and there is also control by gesture.
Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet
Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet concept is powered by four electric motors with a total of 550 kW/750 hp, the batteries are 80 kWh and the drive is on all four wheels.
The highest speed is el. limited to 250 km/h, while autonomy with one battery charge is more than 500 km.
In the end, it remains only a question of whether this concept of 570 cm long will be found in production, at least in a limited series.
