Unique Ferrari 365 GTB/4 saw the light of day after more than four decades that stood abandoned in the garage, and now its owner make a nice profit. In the period from 1969 to 1973, 1,200 copies of the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 were produced. Of this number, only 5 vehicles were made with a lightweight bodywork for the racing 24 hours of Dayton, and only one of these five cars could ride on public roads – and this is exactly the one that has been collecting dust (and rust) for decades in a garage.

Practically the only one in the world, Ferrari 365 GB4/4 Daytona Berlinetta Alloy by Scaglietti will be offered for sale in September as part of RM Sotheby’s auction.
Although quite neglected, the car is in its original condition, which collectors especially appreciate at such oldtimer.
In addition, it was driven only 36,390 km, which additionally raises the price.
It is estimated that at the upcoming auction, the new owner will have to splash out between $1,65 and $2 million, and with proper restoration, the value can only increase later.
