TAG Heuer launched a new special edition of the “Formula 1 No.33 Max Verstappen 2017” watch in honor of Max Verstappen’s success in the world of automotive. The watch was presented on August 20 in the presence of Max personally in his home country of the Netherlands. Before the watch was presented to the public, Max participated in a kind of football challenge #DontCrackUnderPressure, on the joy of the present guests, who saw Max in a slightly different way.
The new watch emphasizes the great and long commitment to car racing. As Max demanded, his lucky number “33” was engraved on the back of the watch case. The number 33 was otherwise the first number when Max started karting and was also his starting number in the Red Bull Racing TAG Heuer RB13 Formula 1 team.
Since many athletes are very superstitious, Max’s number also means a lot. For this reason, this special edition was produced in only 533 copies, so a lucky number is mentioned here too.
New TAG Heuer Formula 1No.33 Max Verstappen 2017 watch has a blue aluminum corona with a tachymetric scale and a special red mark on the dial of 33 minutes, which additionally only reinforces the symbolism of the number that signifies it. Other significant accents of this watch are the red perforated rubber belt with the print “TAG Heuer Formula 1 No.33 Max Verstappen 2017 Special Edition” as well as the number “33” that is engraved on the back of the case.

The watch, as we have already mentioned, is produced in only 533 copies that will be on sale from September in the Netherlands.
The watch is powered by a quartz mechanism, and the case is made of stainless steel with a diameter of 43mm. The watch dial is a blue opal with a white and red flange with a 60-second scale. It has 3 white lacquered countertops with red and black gold-plated polished hands, one indicator in seconds at position 3h, one chronograph tithing at position 6h, as well as a minute chronograph on position 9h. Indices as well as hands are covered with rhodium superlumina coating.
The watch is waterproof to 200m, and the price of this watch is €1,350 ($1,600).
