Zeelander Yachts has taken a big leap forward, recently announcing the introduction of the new flagship Z55 yacht.
The Z55, a luxurious 17-metres yacht (the largest model to date for the shipyard) is nearly 30% larger than its smaller sibling – Z44, giving the owner more space both above and below decks in which to enjoy this exceptional yacht. Whilst cutting through the waves experiencing Zeelander’s famous ride quality, you can enjoy the renowned 360° view from the wheelhouse. The extended deck area includes a wet bar with four bar stools with the raised seating area behind the helm comfortably seating eight people under a sunroof to further enhance your cruising experience.
Further aft, guests can enjoy the spacious casual relaxation area that can be converted into a sumptuous full outdoor dining or sunbathing area. The clever use of space also includes a tender garage and swim platform plus side access
doors for use when mooring at the quayside.
The finest woods, leather, fabrics and other materials are selected for each Zeelander Yacht. As a standard all Zeelander Z55 yachts are delivered with mahogany wood or bleached oak on your individual request with numerous variations in upholstery. The standard interior in either a light modern style or a darker traditional style are designed by the famous super yacht interior designers Sinot. Both can be combined with contrasting upholstery or a tone sur tone combination for an individual design within a beautiful designed frame.
The Zeelander Yacht’s flagship is very easy to handle and maintain, offering high level on board comfort. The Z55 is also equipped with joystick steering for maneuvering, dynamic positioning, automatic trim, cruise control, stabilizer and on-demand information.
The new Z55 is fitted with a twin Volvo Penta IPS 1050. This type of propulsion allows for outstanding maneuverability and power while giving world-class fuel efficiency. In combination with efficient hull shape, it guarantees a range of more than 400 nautical miles. With the optional Volvo Penta IPS 1200 she runs up to 40 knots.
