Italian companies Bianchi and Ferrari have teamed up and made a bike that will be offered in traditional Rosso Corsa and Nero Setoso colors from Maranello. A bike called SF01 is actually a new road bike introduced this week in Germany at Eurobike 2017. It started life as Bianchi Specialissima, and then it received numerous advancements and Ferrari’s sign.
New SF01 has a frame made entirely of carbon fiber, weighing only 780 grams. It also has a vibration canceling system, which can eliminate 80 percent of all vibrations for a smoother ride.
Carbon fiber was used in the construction of a seat, which weights only 74 grams. It’s the same material that Ferrari uses to build a seat for its F1 car. The bike uses the Pirelli P Zero tires, and the wheels are also made of carbon fiber with Ferrari graphics.
They have 1.420 grams.
Sales of SF01 will start in November in selected markets, and will be available globally next year. Its price is €15,000 ($17,880).
