One variant is made of a classical, high-quality Quartz woven fabric, which covers other Vifa products, while other Reykjavik speaker options are offered in variants from a rough version of anodized aluminum. “The aluminum version carries a color called Lavastone Black. We did several prototypes before ending up with this specific metal cover in this particular color. We wanted to convey the fissured, foggy sceneries of the Northern hemisphere, and I do hope this new look will be just as well received as the more gentle looking version of Reykjavik in Sandstone Gray,” says Michael Sørensen, CEO at Vifa.
The new surface material is resistant and perfectly fits with the transmission characteristics of this speaker. The leather belt allows you to take it with you wherever you go.
