Mercedes-AMG will officially present its hypercar Project One to the journalists tonight, and will then be seen by visitors to the Frankfurt Fair, whereby it should be recalled that the car is made in honor of AMG’s 50th anniversary.
It should be noted that the Mercedes-AMG hypercar will be legalized for driving on the roads and will have the technology from Formula 1.
More specifically, the car received a 1.6-liter V6 turbo engine from the F1 car (it has 603 hp at 11,000 rpm), four electric motors (two front and two rear), lithium-ion batteries, all-wheel drive and an automated manual 8-speed Xtra gearbox.
Combined power is 1086 hp (with overboost 1134 hp) and it should be said that it will be possible to run only on electricity (then it will be able to cross about 25 km).
The Mercedes-AMG aimed to keep this car at “less than 1300 kg of weight”, from 0 to 100 km/h will accelerate in less than 3 seconds, while up to 200 km/h will arrive for exactly 6 seconds (the highest speed will be 350 km/h).
The carbon-ceramic brakes will take care of the stop, while the wheels are 19 and 20 inches.
In the end, the series is limited to only 275 pieces (all are already sold), and according to earlier announcements from the factory, its price will be €2.275.000. Delivery to first customers will start from the second quarter of 2019.
