One year after the launch of the limited edition Seven Sprint, Caterham launched another model to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the retro car. A model called Caterham Seven SuperSprint, a car similar to the previous one, offers only 60 specimens intended for European and British markets, which have already been offered at a price of £29,995.
Some of the technical specifications that should be of interest to potential customers are three-cylinder engine with 95 hp, upper camshaft, cooler, electric fan, turbine, five-speed manual, limited-slip differential, front disc brake with two pistons, rear drum brakes, racing suspension with adjustable platforms and shock absorbers from Bilstein.
Caterham Seven SuperSprint also features variants with one or two seats, and comes with a choice of six color schemes, each with its main shade, with contrasting tones, which are named after classic racing tracks such as Imola, Hockenheim and Aintree.
Other stylistic features include Brookland aerodynamic accessories, , extended edges of the front wheels, mesh grille style LeMans racing model and side air intakes, polished exhaust panels, classic hoods, lightweight bonnet, gray finish chassis and suspension, full sports liver, wheels in cream colour with 14 inches, wrapped Avon 155/65 tires.
Inside, the car has four-point racing belts, a wooden steering wheel, a unique control panel, high-quality seats in Innes Tan colour, Scottish Muirhead leather, start button, heating system, and various 12V connectors, among others.
Each car receives special markings on the control panel and can also be equipped with optional features such as two-tone upholstery variants with two seats, rear wing made of stainless steel, lower thresholds, side armrests Innes Tan colour, Scottish Muirhead leather finishes, or glossy finishes around windshield with Mohair hood and mirrors.
