Addictive Arts is new collection of unique fragrances which comes from British company Clive Christian. The collection consists of six fragrances, billed as “provocative, decadent and an expression of our human tendency to excess”.
The collection includes notes that originate from narcotics like wormwood, cocoa leaf and opium poppy, and are designed to take the wearer “on a totally unique trip to scent pharmacology.” A juice known as Jump Up and Kiss Me contains tuberose, mandarin and orange bigarade, while Hedonistic features amber, smoky leather and labdanum. Vision in a Dream has hints of almond, armoise and green galbanum, while Psychedelic has been created from kaffir lime leaf and armoise.
Chasing the Dragon is a mix of notes such as ylang-ylang, jasmine and narcissus while Hypnotic has clove, black cherry and cinnamon.
The Addictive Arts collection by Clive Christian will hit shelves at Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus in the US from Nov. 1. In the UK they will be available at Harrods from October 8. Each fragrance will be priced at £525 for 75 ml.
