Last year, the 37-foot Aston Martin AM37 powerboat made its world debut at the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show, marking Aston Martin’s entry into the nautical world. Now they’ve returned to the boat exposition that took place from 27-30 September 2017, with an even more powerful version AM37S.
Handcrafted in UKI by Quintessence Yacht, this exquisite powerboat fuses maritime and automotive worlds with style and elegance. Combining the highest degree of technology and innovation, the perfect balance of design and engineering, with performance, comfort, luxury and functionality.
This extreme version comes with twin 520hp petrol engines by Mercury Racing, to give the yacht a combined output of 1,040 sea stallions.
Each vessel is made to order with a range of options, and two individually configured examples: one in red with cream leather and the other in teal with ivory leather. They feature smartphone-controlled sliding carbon-fiber cockpit panels, retractable swim platform, and a 15-inch touchscreen display.
Among the unrivalled technology featured onboard, customers can enjoy unique carbon fibre sliding cockpit panels which can be remotely operated with a mobile app.
Navigation, the control monitor and entertainment systems are integrated with 15-inch touchscreen display, with advanced functions to control the electric anchor, rectratable carbon fibre bimini and rectratable swim platform. This phenomenal day cruiser is manufactured using the latest in composite technologies and features many carbon fibre mouldings, including the upper deck.
Aston Martin also revealed a personal submersible called Project Neptune in partnership with Triton Submarines.
