Canadian firm Bombardier debuted with the Global 7000 – the largest jet ever designed for corporate use. The plane will enter service next year with a list price of almost $73m (£55m). Inside there are four luxury living areas, with capacity for up to 19 passengers, as well as a crew rest area.
Bombardier’s promotional photos show the jet made up with a double bed in one ‘room’, an eight-seater sofa in front of the TV in another, and a more conventional flying space, with plush seats.
There will, of course, also be WiFi, as well as a bathroom and shower.
The aircraft has a maximum range of over 8,500 miles, meaning it can fly direct from London to Singapore or New York to Dubai.
The Global 7000 will be on display at the National Business Aviation Association’s flagship industry trade show in Las Vegas between October 10-12. The first examples of the aircraft were assembled at Bombardier’s factory near Toronto, Canada.
