Aston Martin introduced DB11 model last year, first as the Coupe. The British then confirmed that they will later offer convertible edition with a soft folding roof, dubbed DB11 Volante.
Now, we can see its first official photos and a promo video, with the announcment that DB11 Volante will be delivered to the first customers in the first quarter of 2018.
Under the hood, DB11 Volante has an AMG 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 510 hp, coupled with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, while an acceleration up to 100 km/h lasts 4.1 seconds (the top speed is 300 km/h).
The soft roof opens for 14 seconds (at speeds up to 50 km/h), and is available in three colors: Red, Black Silver and Gray Silver.
The car weighs 1870 kg (the weight distribution is 47% ahead and 53% back), which means it has 110 kg more than the Coupe version. Also highlighted are 20-inch alloy wheels (with Bridgestone tires), as well as an optional Bang & Olufsen sound system with 13 speakers.
As far as dimension is concerned, DB11 Volante is 475 cm long, 195 cm wide and 130 cm tall.
Finally, the price; it costs £159,900 ($212,500) in the UK, which is £15,000 ($19,930) more than the DB11 Coupe with the V8 engine.
