Made of black precious sandblasted resin, the writing instrument’s fluid lines flow gently into one another. A pop of orange color can be seen around the forepart paying tribute to Marc Newson’s signature color, and an innovative magnetic cap-closing mechanism automatically aligns the cap with the Montblanc emblem embedded in the “plateau” of the writing instrument. An additional magnet is in the plateau for the cap to sit when writing.

The AU585 gold nib of the writing instrument comes in two tones, using both rhodium and ruthenium.
