As the production of the current G class slowly approaches the end, Mercedes throws out special editions to keep the attention of customers and the media to the still-current generation. The latest in the series of these editions is this Mercedes-AMG G65 Final Edition.It should be noted immediately that the series is limited to only 65 pieces, at a price of €310,233 in Germany.

The vehicle received bronze-colored details (mirrors, front bumper and front grill, spare wheel cover …), a complete set of 21-inch alloy wheels, a black concealed part of the front grill, gloss black details, an interior with black Nappa leather, contrasting stitchings in bronze color, carbon fiber details, as well as front seats with heating and ventilation.

Under the hood is a 6.0 liter V12 biturbo engine with 463 kW/621 hp and 1000 Nm, in combination with seven-speed automatic. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 5.3 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 230 km/h.
As a reminder, Mercedes will end production of the G500 4 × 4² at the end of this month, while the new G class will be premiered next year, probably at the Detroit car show.
