Naucrates 85 is a 26.6 metre versatile vessel created by Italian design studio Green Yachts, which has the potential to transform into a motor yacht with capacity for up to eight guests. The name of the project refers to Naucrates Ductor – a special type of fish, known to be pilot for other larger fishes. As well as the pilot fish also Naucrates 85 is a unit of escort and support for larger yachts.
When used as a support yacht, this vessel built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure shows off expansive deck areas for all your water toys and tenders, but it can be also used for transporting land-based vehicles, as a helicopter landing pad, or as an additional sunbathing platform.
Also, it can be used as a main yacht, to sail in great safety and comfort, so it uses superstructure extension called the “easy plug system” that gives scope to add accommodation for up to eight guests split across three cabins.
On the inside, the practical Naucrates 85 keeps in line with contemporary Italian design trends, which is why it features floor to ceiling windows as well as natural furnishings in wood, lacquer, and leather.
Passengers will get to enjoy stunning panoramic views and, of course, the owners of this yacht will get to decide what kind of amenities they want on board.
The yacht is also characterized by a wellorganized very private crew quarters, with kitchen, dinette and 2 double cabins for Commander, First Officer, Sailor and Hostess.
Naucrates 85 is powered by a pair of MAN diesel engines to propel the Naucrates 85 to a top speed of 12 knots and a total fuel capacity of 39,500 litres should ensure extended cruising potential at 10.5 knots.
