Guerlain launched an exclusive and limited editon La Petite Robe Noire in February 2009, then two years later it presented the second limited edition of the line – La Petite Robe Noire 2, while in early 2012, the Maison decided to relaunch the debut and to offer the fragrance to a broad market. The new La Petite Robe Noire is modified, developed by the in-house perfumer Thierry Wasser.
Now, to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the global launch of their iconic La Petite Robe Noire perfume, Guerlain house launches giant bottle of this beloved perfume.
This anniversary edition is a whopping 1.5 l of eau de parfum bottled in an exquisite black Baccarat bottle with a leather detail. The bottle has been designed by House of Tassin and only 18 of them have been produced for sale at Guerlain’s Champs-Elysées shop in Paris.
Inside the giant bottle is a Oriental Vanila fragrance for women. Top notes are bergamot, almond, sour cherry and red berries; middle notes are rose, tea, taif rose and licorice while base notes are anis, tonka, vanilla, iris and patchouli.
La Petite Robe Noire 5th Anniversary Edition is limited to only 18 pieces, priced at €10,000 ($11,800).
