The most popular three-wheeler that appeared on British television, to be more precisely in the “Only Fools and Horses” series, will be available for auction, which will be held on November 11 in London.
Iconic yellow three-wheeler which Del Boy j proudly drove with his brother Rodney in the series dates back to 1968, and his current owner, John Mansfield, confirmed that it was a car from the series.
The current mileage is 71,778 miles and accessories including a “Tax in Post” window notice, nodding tiger, roof rack with suitcase, set of furry dice, personalised rubber foot mats and a set of blow-up plastic dolls. It is interesting that on the yellow vehicle still stands the inscription “Trotters Indepentend Trading Co”.
IIt is fitted with a 600cc engine which develops just 30bhp. This gives it a 0-60mph time of 25 seconds and a top speed of just 75mph. It is expected to fetch at least £15,000 at the NEC in Birmingham next weekend.
