After showing the new Continental GT in August, Bentley has now offered a version exclusively for racing.
In addition to visual changes in the exterior for performance, there was a change in the aggregate. Instead of the standard W12, there is now V8 four-liter engine that develops more than 550 horsepower (when all electronic blockades are removed).
To make the Continental GT3 equal on the track with its competitors, except for a different engine and aerodynamic changes, serious weight loss has also occurred. The engineers of the Bentley Motorsport Department used carbon fibers, wherever possible. The result is a loss of 987 kilograms of weight, and the Continental GT3 weighs only 1,300 kilograms.
The car has already passed six-month tests and will be on sale in June 2018.
