Mercedes-AMG celebrates its fiftieth anniversary with the new Rotwild R.S2 Limited Edition racing bike, built in honor of the GT R racing flagship.
With the idea of combining the best of the worlds of racing four-wheelers and two-wheelers, including driving dynamics, lightweight construction, design and comfort, this bike will be made in only 50 units, each costing €7,109 ($8,287). This number was chosen in reference to the AMG GT R’s Nürburgring lap time of 7:10.9.
The frame of this bike was made manually, with parts of carbon fibers, so that the weight was as small as possible. The specially designed seat ensures long-distance comfort, while the 29-inch carbon wheels allow quick acceleration and improved braking. Brake discs, gearboxes, chain and other components are developed by Shimano.
