What do you think about McLaren 720S in black and gold combination?
McLaren’s Special Department has designed a unique copy of the supercar McLaren 720S, inspired by Bruce McLaren’s words, to be presented at the Dubai Motor Show from November 14 to 18.
Namely, this McLaren’s department has total freedom when it comes to the design of McLaren’s vehicles, and so make real great four-wheelers. This time, they painted the supercar McLaren 720S in a dark black with golden details. The golden color is painted on aluminum alloy wheels as well as interior components, while the shield of the engine is made of 24 carat gold.
The rear spoiler is very unique because on it in Arabic characters, and in a style that resembles the look of Dubai, is written a quote from the founder of McLaren: “Life is measured by success, not just for years.” People from the company decided to take this move because “this quote does not only apply to McLaren, but also to Dubai, which has achieved so much in the last four decades,” said Andreas Baris, director of McLaren for the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
It took 120 hours for the compilation of the car, of which 30 were only for the production of the inscription on the rear spoiler. This model comes with Performance equipment package, which includes a new splitter and air intakes at the front, a new rear bumper and a panel roof. The interior looks just as impressive. As for performance, the four-cylinder V8 engine with two turbochargers allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 200 km/h in just 7.8 seconds, and a top speed of 341 km/h.
