For years ago SevenFriday introduced to the world their KUKA robot inspired timepieces. Both installment – KUKA I and KUKA II almost immediately sold out – more than 3,600 pieces worldwide. Relying on this success Avant-garde watchmaker now releases third continuation the aptly named SevenFriday P3/07 KUKA III.
Just like its two counterparts, this watch boasts an aesthetic directly inspired by the KUKA robot. With robotic precision, the new SevenFriday P3/07 Kuka III Limited Edition watch makes full use of its orange and gunmetal interface with six layers of detail.
Four discs work in automatic movement to indicate the hour, minutes, seconds and meridiem. The tip of the orange hour hand is lled with Super- Luminova. The minute disc, trimmed in orange around the ring, has a Super-Luminova lled tip. Seconds is displayed on a black disc with orange numbers every 10 seconds from 05 to 55.
The fourth AM/PM disc represents the 24-hour factory cycle with gun metal for daylight hours and orange for night time hours. The black silicone animation ring is grooved like the gripper extensions that maximize the robot’s reach.
To complete the futuristic look of the SevenFriday P3/07 Kuka III Limited Edition watch, a bright and unmissable orange silicon strap is added with stunning black stitching detail.
There are 750 pieces of the SevenFriday P3/07 Kuka III Limited Edition watch being released, only 10 of these for the UK market. The price is $1,200.
