It’s good to be Valentino Rossi. Not only because you have nine Champiion titles, legions of faithful fans, but also what kind of pretty nice presents you get from your friends.
Take for example the motorcycle that you see in the pictures. It’s a special, tailor-made Yamaha XJR1300 flat tracker model, which people from the VR46 team donated to the Doctor.
The Yamaha XJR1300 can not be called the best foundation for a custom project, but it does not help it not to meet the Euro4 standard and which will go into history in the end of the year.
It’s also a rare choice for a flat track motorcycle, especially as it weighs 240 kg.
With all this in mind, the VR46 team did a great job.
The design of this unique creation is signed by Rodolfo Fraskoli, the same man behind the attractive Suzuki Katana 3.0 concept. If you look carefully, you will see that the motorcycle has several parts from other Yamaha lines on it.
There are headlights with R1, Ohlins suspension, Akrapovich 4-2-1-2 exhaust system, 19-inch wheels, tucked into flat tracking tires.
The final result is extremely attractive and you can almost disturb the mind that the Yamaha XJR1300 is the basis. Great connection of the old and the new and the new face of an unforgettable machine.
