After a number of teasers, Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus released photos of the new model 004S, a supercar three-seater with a centrally located driver’s seat, as is the case with McLaren F1.
In order to make the supercar more lighter, engineers have created a bodywork and chassis of carbon fiber, resulting in a weight of 1,179 kg.
SCG 004S is powered by a 5.0-liter biturbo engine that develops 650hp and 720 Nm of torque, which can be paired with six-speed manual or optional automotive gearshift with paddle for changing speed.
Performance details are not published, and it is known that the car will cost $400,000. The first 25 cars will be delivered to customers in the next 18 months.
SCG has promised that its latest model will also be prepared for 24 Hours Nürburgring. The prototype of the 004S will begin testing in the middle of next year.
The company is already receiving orders, and the deposit is $40,000.
SCG’s plan is to increase production in the coming years and deliver 250 cars annually. It should start to be implemented by 2020 or 2021.
In addition to the road version, SCG is also developing racing versions of this car.
