The history of Ford at Le Mans has entered realm of motorsport myth and legend. And the story is still being written today, over 50 years after Ford’s maiden victory at La Sarthe in 1966.
New York-based watch company Autodromo has teamed with Ford Motor Company to honor its iconic GT model and its storied presence at Le Mans. So, they unveiled two officially sanctioned auto-inspired timepieces targeted specifically at Ford GT owners.

Autodromo’s Ford GT Endurance Chronograph is available in fiver versions inspired by the car’s the long tradition of racing and winning at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The versions are themed around the 1966, 1967, and 2016 races, as well as colors and stripes used as part of the livery on these race cars. This watch blends vintage and classic styling cues and is built with Swiss fly back chronograph movement, a layered sapphire-crystal dial, and a ceramic case. Pre-orders from the Endurance line are available now ($695), with shipping in December.
But true GT aficionados have the opportunity to pair their new car with an Owner’s Edition Chronograph, a customizable timepiece where you can pair your car and watch, down to a serial number that matches the car’s chassis number. Featuring a Swiss Flyback chronograph movement, multi-layered sapphire crystal dial and ceramic case, the Owner’s Edition is only available via a private site for new GT owners.
