In addition to developing advanced hydrogen and electric vehicles in the automotive industry, Toyota is dedicated to robotics. At the International Robotics Fair, they will present their T-HR3 robot.
This third generation of “humanoid robots” is designed to help people in their homes, hospitals, and even in the universe.
Toyota’s T-HR3 robot has no artificial intelligence, but is controlled by the Master Maneuvering system, which works by replicating the robot’s movements in the control chamber. It also has Flexible Joint Control, which means it can control the volume of contact it makes with its environment.
