This is what is being referred to as the world’s most expensive Yarmulke is encrusted with thousands of crystals and topped with a diamond. This Jewish skullcap has been created by artist Toks Daniel in time for Hanukkah, known as the Jewish festival of lights, which begins on December 12 and runs until December 20.
Daniel’s creation is encrusted with over 3,500 sparkling Swarovski crystals and crowned with a stunning 2 carat D color flawless diamond.
It took him 14 days to conceive and create the Yarmulke, which requires every one of the crystals to be painstakingly placed and applied to a pre-ordained position.
Toks, who is also sometime known as TDaniel collaborated with jeweler Robert Goodman for a solitaire cut diamond set proudly atop a Star of David at the Yarmulke’s summit.
Goodman, has been a highly respected jewelry designer and maker based in Hatton Garden, the heart of London’s jewelry district, for 20 years.
The yarmulke is selling at $167,000 or $9,300 for the yarmulke without the diamond. It is being sold at the luxury e-commerce website VeryFirstTo.com.
