The serial version of Lamborghini Urus was finally officially presented to the public last night, after more than five and a half years of waiting from the promotion of the same vehicle concept.
And as previously confirmed by the first Lamborghini’s man, Stefano Domenicali, this Super Sports Utility Vehicle is powered by a 4.0 liter V8 biturbo engine with 478 kW / 650 hp and 850 Nm of torque (also has cylinder deactivation system to reduce fuel consumption) in pair with eight-speed automatic, Active Torque Vectoring, all-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive controls (wheels ranging from 21 to 23 inches).
There is no end, because part of the package, among other things, includes adjustable air suspension and carbon ceramic brakes (for stopping speed of 100 km/h Urus needs 34 meters).
According to the factory data, this almost 2200 kg heavy car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, up to 200 km/h in 12.8 seconds, while the highest speed is 305 km/h. If you’re interested, fuel consumption is 12.7 l / 100 km.
It should be noted that Urus was built on a platform already used by Audi Q7, Bentley Bentayg and Porsche Cayenne. As far as dimension is concerned, the length of Urus is 511 cm, width 201 cm, height 163 cm, and wheelbase 300 cm.
We go further, the equipment includes both front and rear parking sensors, el. luggage compartment opening, active cruise control, keyless start, 12.3-inch digital dashboard, sound system with eight speakers (optional Bang & Olufsen audio system with 21 speakers and 1700 watts), el. adjustable heated seats, head-up display, TV tuner, bird-eye view camera, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber in the interior.
In addition to the regular version with five seats, Urus will also be able to get it in a variant with two individual seats in the back.
The deliveries of Urus will start in the Spring next year, and in the United Kingdom they expect the price of Urus on their market to be about £165,000.
