Van Eaton Galleries proudly presents “Remembering Disneyland”, an exhibition and auction of nearly 800 props, souvenirs, and artifacts from the park’s 60-year history.
“Remembering Disneyland” tells the story of Disneyland through the memories and experiences of former Cast Members, performers, and individuals who have had a role in the legacy of the park.

Highlights of this auction include several early original paintings used in the design of “Sleeping Beauty Castle” (Estimate: $3,000-$5,000 ea.); an original animatronic “Fuzzball” character from the popular Captain EO attraction (Estimate: $50,000-$60,000); an original “Zorro” costume worn by Guy Williams during appearances at Disneyland (Estimate: $4,000-$6,000); an extremely rare “Rainbow Caverns” attraction poster, (Estimate: $15,000-$20,000); original signage from the “Haunted Mansion” attraction (Estimate: $5,000-$8,000) and an original 1967 “Autopia” car body (Estimate: $4,000-$6,000)

Other highlights include a collection of “Golden Horseshoe” memorabilia from 25-year performer Fulton Burley’s estate and original Disneyland Railroad items including an actual wheel from a Disneyland train (Estimate: $3,000-$5,000); an original prospectus pre-dating the opening of the park (Estimate: $3,000-$5,000), original props and signage from the recently closed “Twilight Zone Tower of Terror” (varying estimates); an original sign from the “Country Bear Jamboree” attraction (Estimate: $5,000-$7,000).

The auction features other unique items such as an Original Metal Cast Member ID Badge (Estimate: $1,500-$2,500), a set of Original Paintings by Artist Neil Boyle (Estimate: $3,000-$5,000), a rare Disneyland 45-Year Service Award (Estimate: $2,000-$3,000), a Disneyland Opening Day Press Preview Ticket (Estimate: $3,000-$5,000), and a Complete Set of Furniture from a Grand Californian Hotel Room (Estimate: $2,000-$4,000).

The massive collection also included memorabilia from Walt Disney World, EPCOT, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris. From signage, vintage souvenirs, original artwork, records, documents, magazines, costumes and other items from the earliest days of the park, bidders from around the globe will find a wide range of items to enjoy.
