The last-produced car of the American brand Oldsmobile, which has left the factory tape more than 13 years ago, will be offered for sale at auction.
General Motors has abolished the Oldsmobile brand more than a decade ago, after 35 million produced vehicles during the glittering history long over one century.
The Oldsmobile brand story gets a new chapter this week, as General Motors has decided to offer the last made copy of the latest serial model of this manufacturer for sale.
Oldsmobile Alero
Oldsmobile Alero, who left the Lensing factory in Michigan on April 29, 2004, features signatures of all the workers who were engaged in the production of vehicles at that time.
General Motors kept this copy for the last ten years, and decided to sell it now. However, only car dealers will be able to compete for it, so the last Oldsmobile will probably end up as an exhibit.
There is no estimate of how much this car could be worth, but it is certainly a much higher sum of the price at which the Alero model was sold at the time it was still being manufactured.
Oldsmobile Alero is powered by a 3.4 liter V6 gasoline which produces 170 hp and 270 Nm, and the engine is connected to a four-speed automatic transmission.
Otherwise, in addition to the last instance of the Alero model, the last manufactured Oldsmobile Cierra and Cutlass will be also offered and sold at auction, scheduled for December 15th.
