Arcadia Yachts unveiled its smallest model to date as part of its Renaissance series. Scheduled for delivery in 2018, Sherpa Panta Rei III boasts a unique paint colour, ordered by her owner who expressly asked the yard to paint the hull in the same iconic Silver Sand colour as his Rolls Royce. Starting with nothing more than a paint sample from Rolls Royce, Arcadi Yachts and its nautical supplier spent two months meticulously working to produce a paint that guaranteed the kind of chemical stability required to stand the test of time in the marine environment.

That huge effort was rewarded, however, by the owner’s instant thumbs-up, confirming the yard’s ability to consistently put the owner’s requests at the very heart of each project.
The rest of Panta Rei III is a typical Arcadia Sherpa with a radical design and a very large open aft deck (almost on sea level) that must be the biggest in that class (we are talking about a size of just 17m). Furthermore, the focus on the environmentally friendly concept with an optimized hull and the extensive use of solar panels to reduce the runtimes of the generators.

According to Arcadia, the classic lines of the yacht’s hull are inspired by the working vessel aesthetic. Her superstructure is supported by side frames that run parallel to two mirrored staircases on either side, giving access to the ‘Easy-to-Close’ skylounge above. The yacht builder describes this as creating “an interplay of lines that never obscure or interrupt the sense of contact with the sea”.
This superstructure fulfils another function in shading an area of the main deck, providing shelter to guests as they relax on the yacht’s C-shaped sofa. Two further sofas can convert into extra sunpads amidships.
Main deck aft is a single step that allows guests access to a 50-square-metre terrace at water level. Here unobtrusive low-level bulwark lighting immerses the boat and its passengers in the maritime surroundings.

While focusing on convivial social areas, Sherpa Panta Rei III provides luxurious private spaces inside, including an impressive twin guest cabin with a two-metre high ceiling and a master suite in dark oak, complete with a marble bathroom.
The price for an Arcadia Sherpa without special requests is about EUR 1,796,000 (without VAT).
