Characterised by its thin, golden case, the De Ville Trésor of the late 1940s was named such because it safeguarded the legendary 30mm calibre within. Back in 2014, Omega added to its dressy DeVille family with the introduction of the De Ville Trésor, an updated version of a thin, classically elegant gents’ watch originally released in 1949. This year, just in time for the holiday shopping season, Omega introduces three new Trésor models for ladies, making their debut at an all-new pop-up Omega boutique on New York’s Fifth Avenue.
Defining the true meaning of elegance, the three new ladies De Ville Trésor models are distinguished by their diamond-set bezels and white domed mother-of-pearl dials.
Borrowing from the styling of its predecessor, the timepiece features a thin case with a height of just 10.6 mm.
The slim cases are available in either stainless steel and in Sedna gold (Omega’s own alloy for 18 carat rose gold), with an eloquent selection of straps and colors, in both leather and fabric.
Also, the Omega Trésor ladies’ models come in two sizes: 36mm and 39mm. Thus, there will be 9 different models, or variations, available of the Omega Trésor ladies’ collection. What they have in common, is their caliber 4061 movement.
The crown also offers another attractive touch, framing the crown-set diamond: a flower created by five interlocking Omega logos (in other words, the actual Greek letter Omega) and applied in red liquid ceramic. This comes at certain price, so the quartz movement ensures the starting price of $4500USD for the stainless steel model. The 18 carat Sedna gold model will retail for $8600USD.
At first sight, it’s clear that these new models will seamlessly bring the De Ville Trésor into the realm of luxury women’s fashion.
