Called Cat’s Eye La Fenice by the legendary La Fenice Theater in Venice, Girard-Perregaux is honoring this incredible building, decorating its new watch with diamonds, as well as hand-polished white golden ribbons.
200 diamonds give this watch a really dramatic look, while 83 emeralds glitter on its dial, accompanied by ten more diamonds. Diamonds were cut and processed by special techniques, in order to preserve their transparency and gloss, while the Clou de Paris technique of setting them created a reflective effect that further emphasizes their attractiveness.
On the dial there are special cut-out mother-of-pearl inserts that are hand-painted in subtle gradient shades, which can be personalized at the buyer’s will. These details are accentuated with a white golden ribbons, which reminds us of the scenic curtain of the theater.
The watch is completed with alligator leather strap, which is created in the appropriate color, depending on the colors that customers choose to mother-of-pearl inserts. Also, with this model goes black alligator leather strap, with a buckle that is decorated with diamonds.
Inside the watch case, there is a mechanically self-leveling mechanism with hour and minute functions, and a power reserve of 46 hours. The back of the watch can be additionally personalized by adding engraved motifs that reflect the world of the theater.
