Kansas City outfitter Baldwin has teamed up with shoe designer George Esquivel to develop an exclusive line of handcrafted shoes.
The collab formed out of a foundation of longtime friendship and mutual respect. “I believe in community, collaboration and connection. Partnering with George Esquivel this season just felt like a natural fit. The color palette along with the suede and leather we used are in sync with the roots of our brand,” says Matt Baldwin. “It’s a like-minded, American-made collaboration of handcrafted goods.”

Brand alignment is also a key factor in the partnership. Handcraftsmanship, quality and tradition are at the heart of Esquivel. “We share the same values and beliefs. This collaboration is something we both believe in. It felt special and we wanted to do it right, “ says George Esquivel.
Baldwin x Esquivel Shoe Collection comprises six styles: three for women and three for men. Every detail is carefully considered and made entirely by hand, down to the laces. The leathers and materials used feature soft finishes and are sourced from the finest tanneries in the world. Each pair is hand cut and sewn by skilled shoemakers in Southern California.
