Italian footwear brand Golden Goose Deluxe Brand (GGDB) continues to invest in retail. The company debuted its newest concept space exclusively at Pedder on Scotts two monts ago.
Apart from being the brand’s first-ever pop-up shop in Singapore, it is also the brand’s first South East Asia outpost, following successful store openings in cities like Los Angeles and London.
At 1,700 square feet, the spacious store features minimalist marble flooring, warm-hued fabric covered walls, and a customised sneaker display on aged-effect brass shelves.
Distressed, broken in, well worn – whatever you want to call them – Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are the perfect luxury item for your casual encounters.
The Italian sneakers are created by husband and wife team Alessandro Gallo Francesca Rinaldo in their native city of Venice. The two draw inspiration from travel, art and long standing local artisan traditions.
The couple has said that “Golden Goose was born like a dream of two people in love, united from a strong passion.” Furthermore, the distressed look that the brand has grown to become notoriously known for, began as a homage to the West Coast’s rich skateboard culture.
