Tom Jones sold his fantastic villa in Los Angeles at a cost of £6.5 million, as he plans to permanently move to the United Kingdom …
Sir Tom Jones sold a villa located in the exclusive Mulholland Estates community because he didn’t ‘feel comfortable’ in the abode following the death of his wife of 59 years, Linda.
Legendary singer lost his wife in April 2016, when she lost her battle with cancer, and after that decided to sell their common home.
As Tom says: “That was our house in LA. I didn’t feel comfortable there any more. [Melinda] wanted to come back to Britain, she was always homesick. Then she got sick and we couldn’t do it. She told me to go back the last week she was alive. She told me to get a flat in London. She would have loved to have come back but we left it too late.”
His wife was responsible for equipping and decoration of this incredible estate, so the new owner got a fully furnished house at the price mentioned above.
The villa has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and the famous singer bought it in 1998 at a price of £2,136,960 million. It is located on a magnificent estate offering a superb view of Los Angeles.
The unusual interior, in addition to the abundance of animal print, contains luxurious black and gold details, as well as eclectic pieces of furniture provided by the wow factor. The beautiful area of the foyer is decorated with golden and mahogany details, combined with artwork of classic style and brown sofas.
The luxurious main bedroom has a golden bed with a canopy and a loggia with an interesting theme, accented sculptures of the leopard and various animal patterns on the furniture. The bathroom that is part of the main bedroom has a stand-alone bathtub and a steam room with a neutral tile design, with a balcony overlooking the top view.
In the exterior, the new owners expect sensational pool and beautiful garden, and high hedges hides all family members and guests from curious views.
