Each year companies compete who can “pack” more memory into as little space as possible. This year’s winner is SanDisk, who presented a miniature USB flash drive that stores 1TB of memory!
Last year, Kingston managed to do something even better and introduced 2 terabytes on a slightly larger surface than the average USB drive.
SanDisk did it on a much smaller flash, just a bit bigger than a coin, plus it is about the latest USB-C technology, which means it can be directly inserted into the Android phone.
Although only a prototype has been presented, and the potential price and launch date for the market has not yet been announced, it is assumed to cost around $500.
