Four years ago, fitness company Peloton launched its Internet-enabled smart stationary bike—the company’s very first commercial product. Now, they introduces the company’s first treadmill fitness machine.
Instead of sadly attempting to tone your abs at home on a machine that looks like a medieval torture device, you can use Peloton’s treadmill, and you can exercise like in a gym class.
According to Peloton, the treadmill offers the signature immersive video training experience that helped its indoor cycling bikes become distinctive.
The Tread will also let users perform floor strength exercises, total body training, plus go for runs and walks. It’ll have a large 32-inch screen, along with a sound bar for audio oomph.
No wonder which why the new Tread machine is so expensive – $3,995, to be exact.
Also, you can spread out the payments over 39 months, so it’s only $149 a month. (Only.) You can preorder Peloton Tread machines now, but the product isn’t scheduled to ship until fall 2018.
