A bus that used in the period 2001-2005 by Ferrari’s F1 team, in which Michael Schumacher was at that time, will be offered on sale at auction in Paris in February.
In the early 2000s, Scuderia Ferrari had a great tandem of drivers, in which, next to Schumacher was also Brazilian Rubens Barrichello.
F1 team that has enjoyed world fame thanks to the large number of fans around the world, used red official bus of brand Iveco during the five official competitive seasons.
The vehicle was rearranged into a luxurious house on wheels, with 380 hp diesel engine connected to the eight-speed automatic ZF transmission.
Originally, the bus had two separate apartments with TV, satellite phone, internet connection and a table for physiotherapeutic treatment after a strenuous race.
When Ferrari sold the vehicle, the new owner rearranged it according to his needs.
The electrical installations were replaced, and the bus got a fully equipped bathroom, independent heating and air conditioning systems, a 220 V diesel generator, a Bose home theater and a luxurious double bed.
However, the original appearance with Scuderia Ferrari marks is retained from the outside, and the bus also has the Ferrari Certificate of Authenticity.
A vehicle that has crossed 90,000 km will be found at the auction organized by Bonhams House on February 8 in Paris. It is estimated that it will reach the price between 125,000 and 150,000 euros.
