After successful cooperation on watches featuring Batman, Super Mario Bros, and even Hello Kitty, RJ Romain Jerome has teamed up with MARVEL to create another unique wristwatch with the RJ x Spider-Man.
The watch comes in Romain Jerome’s round “Skylab” case, with the four stylized “paws” at the corners, made of black PVD-coated stainless steel and measuring a super-heroic 48 mm in diameter. The center stage of the brand’s new Spider Man watch is a striking red spider logo held to the front of the skeletonized movement by two screws. There are also Romain Jerome’s familiar arrow-tipped hands, made of satin-brushed nickel and coated with a “blue emission” Super-LumiNova.
The movement has a power reserve of 48 hours and a frequency of 28,800 vph, and its rear side is visible through a sapphire window in the black PVD caseback, underneath a metallized spiderweb pattern on the sapphire’s surface.
Water-resistance of 30 meters, the watch comes on a black rubber strap with a black PVD-coated folding clasp.
Produced in a limited run of just 75 pieces, the RJ x Spider-Man watch will set you back a cool $19,500.
