Comedian and producer Chelsea Handler has listed her home in Bel-Air for sale at $11.5 million.
The 5,572-square-foot house, perched in the hills of Bel-Air and built in 1964 has been updated to blend modern amenities with a Midcentury aesthetic. Situated at the end of long gated drive that makes a grand swoop up to a compact motor court, two-story residence has six en suite bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.
Open-plan living areas, a chef’s kitchen, a den with a fireplace and a family/game room are on the first level.
The upstairs master suite features a drop-down television, a large walk-in closet and a dry sauna. The master bathroom has dual sinks and a make-up vanity area.
The exterior grounds include a fireplace, an outdoor kitchen and a pizza oven. There’s also a 50-foot-long pool.
Handler reportedly paid $5.9 million for the gated residence in 2010. She bought it from the late actress and competitive swimmer Esther Williams, according to the Los Angeles Times.
