Guerlain has introduced a new fragrance for women, Baiser de Russie (Russian Kiss), part of the collection entitled Les Parisiennes, which develops its thematic around a parallel between U”ne ville, Un parfum” (“A City, A Perfume”).
Baiser de Russie pays tribute to the Muscovite and her “boho chic” look, reinventing with audacity the richness of Russian traditional bohemian style.
In-house lead perfumer Thierry Wasser signs a musky fruity-floral, which is said to be “(ultra) feminine, radiant, sparkling.”
The eau de parfum has top notes of bergamot, plum, pine needle, lemon, and absinth seguing into a heart of cranberry and jasmine petals. The base features caramel, sandalwood, tonka bean, white musks and vanilla.
The fragrance is showcased in the iconic Bee bottle nests in an amethyst “leather feel” case (that can be turned into a jewellery box as you wish). Price is €230 for 125 ml.
