The mini-motorcycle used in the scenes of the movie “Dumb and Dumber”, with Jim Carrey and Jeff Davis from 1994, is currently on the eBay auction and has already surpassed a figure of $35,000.
According to the seller’s description, the small two-wheeler currently on sale is one of only two original motorcycles used in the movie, made by Sydney Bartholomew. This specimen is allegedly used in all the major scenes with two main actors.
Later it was gifted to to film transportation coordinator Gordie Merrick, and after 20 years it came to the current owner. The second motorcycle is donated to Planet Hollywood.
Mini Bike From “Dumb and Dumber”
A Houston owner says he spent more than a year repairing and restoring this mini bike to restore it to its original state. Among the changed parts are belt pulleys, brake and gas cables and fuel hose, and the seller says that it has all the original parts. Although not original items from the movie, helmet, briefcase and bag are also included in the price.
The mini-bike will be auctioned until February 18th, and animal lovers will be happy to hear that 10% of the final sale price goes to charity for animals.
