The films about the British agent James Bond have been present since 1962, and the last actor in his role was Daniel Craig. He, like Bond, was driving Aston Martin’s cars, and Vanquish, which was in his possession, will be sold at an auction in New York on April 20.
It’s not a car used for filming, but a really private car of a famous actor. The car was manufactured in 2014, and it is estimated that the new owner will splash out between $400,000 and $600,000. “Ordinary” Vanquish is sold at a price of $300,000.
However, Craig’s Vanquish is special because it is a Centenary Edition model built on the 100th anniversary of Aston Martin. Craig modified it in cooperation with Marek Reichman, one of Aston Martin’s CCO.
The car is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine delivering 565 hp and 620 Nm of torque, and is paired with an automatic transmission. The maximum speed is 295 km/h.
