When you think about refined watches and watchmaking experience, Louis Vuitton certainly isn’t the first association. But the brand seems to want to change this, and the first step is their Tambour Moon Mystérieuse Flying Tourbillon.
This timepiece is based on the mysterious trend of movement, combining it with a flying tourbillon and beautifully arranging these elements in a line. The mysterious movements are not uncommon in today’s watches, such as the Cartier which is especially known for its conquest in style.
The Louis Vuitton watch features a 45mm platinum case and is powered by the LV110 manual gauge. The movement has an impressive power reserve of 8 days. At 12 o’clock is the monogram flower of the brand, which also appears in the flying tourbillon that completes a rotation every minute.
This watch is beautifully minimalist and complex, perhaps indicating a new direction for the Louis Vuitton range of watches.
The watch features a black crocodile bracelet and the LV will engrave the back of the tourbillon with the initials of the owner to add a personal touch.
